Ultra-Grip II™DH - Model 6136 Self-Powered Multi-Function Dual-Axis Drum Handler with Drum Hugger Jaws

 

Model 6136 Ultra-Grip II™ DH features wraparound rubber-lined Drum Hugger Jaws and is specifically designed to help solve handling problems for 55-gallon plastic or fiber drums, which usually aren't rigid enough to be dumped safely. The Drum Hugger Jaws match the contour of such "open-top" plastic, fiber (or steel) drums, allowing them to be safely lifted and dumped. The jaws are not intended to handle anything but standard 55 gallon drums. As with the Model 6135 Ultra-Grip II, the operator has the choice of controlled dumping to the left, right, and forward.

 Although the wraparound Drum Hugger jaw are designed to match the contour of 55 gallon plastic or fiber drums, they also work with 55 gallon steel drums.

*Dumping capacity of an open-top drum is limited by the strength and rigidity of the drum. It must be capable of retaining its cylindrical shape while dumping the load.
