Burlap, a plant that yields a textile fiber and used as a cloth, raw material for bags, packing material, decorations, handicrafts, wall, floor & ceiling coverings, etc. Often referred to as jute or Hessian cloth, it is sown during the rainy season in eastern countries such as India from March to May and harvested from June to September. Being 100% bio-degradable and environmentally friendly, it has become one of the most important textiles available.
It is available plain, and treated burlap (nursery applications) in multiple sizes and widths in rolls, bags, and squares. If you do not see what you need call us.
The nature of this fabric is an uneven weave which gives its unusual effect. It is not to be construed as flaws in the goods. If cleaning is required, for best results dry clean.
Note: As a natural product Burlap/Jute is flammable. If you application requires a flame retardant click here.
